Wild Mill, LLC Donates over $3000 to Local Schools

June 7, 2006
Eau Claire, Wisconsin

Wild Mill LLC, owners and operators of Wild Ridge and Mill Run Golf Courses, donated over $3000 to local schools as a result of the company’s Golf for Education program. The program, which ran from June 1st through August 31, 2005, offered golfers that play before 10:30 AM a 20% discount on greens fees and cart fees. In addition, the player picks a local school and the golf courses donate 5% of the revenue to that school. According to David Longville, Director of Operations for Wild Mill LLC, “Golf for Education is a win for everyone. The golf courses are able to fill in tee times that are otherwise vacant, the player is able to take advantage of a discounted rate, and the education system that this community is built around receives financial assistance.”

The Golf for Education program is running again for the 2006 season. A Monday morning league has been added to further grow the program. The goal is to donate $100,000 to local school systems over the next 10 years.
